Another egg! This one is darker than any of the eggs we’ve gotten so far. Who layed it? The plot thickens.

I don’t think it was Egglantine or Lady Sandstorm. Egglantine still looks like an overgrown baby and Lady Sandstorm lays a lighter colored egg. Very puzzling!
We think she is! We’ve gotten two eggs on the roosts so far and Lady Sandstorm never lays in the roosts! Best of all, we got two eggs yesterday! I’ll try to get some pictures in the next few days!
Lord Firestar has been crowing a lot. He’s also been dancing for his wives more than usual. I think they all know that spring is finally here!

We ate the two Lady Sandstorm eggs today! That means today was the first time since August that we had real eggs! They were really good and extremely orange! Pure happiness! We thanked Lady Sandstorm, of course.
QuackStar was a funny duck. He decided to join our family on May 31, 2009. We were pretty startled when a day old duckling ran up to us! We quickly became good friends. He would follow us around the house, feet slapping on the floor, bill vacuuming lint and crumbs. He loved water!
