That is one thing I like about our four hens. I always know who laid the egg because they are all slightly different. We have quite a few more chicks on their way, however, and several Plymouth Rocks. I don’t think we’re going to know which is which once they start laying!

Yes, I love Kooshie! She’s very pretty. And great news on Lady Sandstorm’s egg – YAY! I finally hae some lovely bantams hens in my flock & have my first bantam eggs from Minnie, a Barnevelder. They are very yummy indeed :0)

These pictures are beautiful! And it’s quite interesting to see a true Ameraucana, since I’m just familiar with Easter Eggers (who are often called Ameraucanas but aren’t … is that right?).
